Statutory Rights & Guarantee

Last updated: July 2026

Your statutory rights as a consumer are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in these policies affects those rights.

3.1 Your Statutory Rights (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

All goods sold through Propinout must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality — free from defects, safe, and durable.
  • Fit for purpose — suitable for the purpose for which goods of that kind are usually supplied, and any specific purpose you made known to the vendor.
  • As described — matching the description, sample, or model shown on the listing.

3.2 Remedies if Goods Do Not Conform

Within 30 days of delivery:

  • You have the right to a full refund if the goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.

Between 30 days and 6 months of delivery:

  • The vendor must repair or replace the goods. If repair or replacement is not possible or fails, you are entitled to a full or partial refund.
  • During this period, it is presumed the fault existed at the time of delivery — the vendor must prove otherwise.

After 6 months and up to 6 years (5 years in Scotland):

  • You may still have a right to repair, replacement, or partial refund, but you will need to demonstrate that the fault existed at the time of delivery.

3.3 How to Exercise Your Statutory Rights

To report a faulty or non-conforming product, contact the vendor directly via their store page. If the vendor is unresponsive within 5 working days, contact us at contact@propinout.com and we will assist in resolving the matter.

3.4 Marketplace Operator Liability

As a marketplace operator, Propinout is not the seller of goods. However, we take our responsibilities to consumers seriously. Where a vendor fails to honour your statutory rights, we will use reasonable endeavours to assist you in obtaining a remedy, including where necessary removing the vendor from our platform.

⚠ Note: This statutory guarantee is separate from and in addition to any manufacturer’s warranty offered by individual vendors. The existence of a manufacturer’s warranty does not diminish your statutory rights.
