Returns & Cancellation Policy

This Returns and Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made through Propinout (www.propinout.com), a UK-based online marketplace operated by [FULL LEGAL NAME] trading as Propinout.

1.1 Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

As a consumer purchasing goods online, you have the legal right to cancel your order without giving any reason.

Cancellation Period

  • You have 14 calendar days to cancel your order from the day you (or someone you nominate) receives the goods.
  • For orders containing multiple items delivered separately, the 14-day period begins from the day you receive the last item.
  • To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform the relevant vendor — or contact us at contact@propinout.com — within this period.

How to Cancel

To cancel, you must provide a clear statement of your decision to cancel. You may use the model cancellation form below, but this is not mandatory. You can also notify us by email at contact@propinout.com including your order number, name, and the item(s) you wish to cancel.

I/We hereby give notice that I/We cancel my/our contract of sale of the following goods:

1.2 Return of Goods

  • Once you have notified the vendor of your cancellation, you must return the goods within 14 calendar days.
  • Goods must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, with all original packaging where possible.
  • You are responsible for ensuring goods are adequately packaged to prevent damage in transit on return.

1.3 Return Shipping Costs

The buyer is responsible for the direct cost of returning goods in all circumstances, including where goods are being returned due to a change of mind or under the 14-day cancellation right.

  • You must arrange and pay for the return of goods to the vendor at your own expense.
  • We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as you remain responsible for the goods until they are received by the vendor.
  • Propinout and its vendors accept no liability for goods lost or damaged in transit on return where the buyer has arranged the return shipment.

⚠ Note: Please ensure goods are adequately packaged before returning. Items damaged due to insufficient packaging on return may result in a reduced refund.

1.4 Refunds

  • Once we confirm the vendor has received your return, a full refund — including the original standard delivery charge — will be issued within 14 calendar days.
  • Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original purchase.
  • We may reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods if this has been caused by your handling of them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

1.5 Exceptions to the Right to Cancel

The 14-day cancellation right does not apply to:

  • Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (e.g. custom-sized or bespoke furniture).
  • Goods that have been installed or assembled in a way that prevents them from being returned without damage.
  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons, where the seal has been broken after delivery.

1.6 Complaints & Escalation

If a vendor fails to respond to a return request within 5 working days, please contact us directly at contact@propinout.com. We will act as an intermediary to resolve the matter. If a resolution cannot be reached, you may refer your complaint to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme. Details are provided in our Terms & Conditions.
